Cristiano De André in concert in Caserta with “De André sings De André – Best Of Estate 2025”

The “De André canta De André” project is thus enriched with a new piece, after the success of the four albums “De André canta De André – Vol. 1” (2009), “De André canta De André – Vol. 2” (2010), “De André canta De André – Vol. 3” (2017) and “De André canta De André – Storia di un impiegato” (2023), after various sold-out tours each dedicated to a part of Fabrizio’s repertoire and after having sold out every stage of the “De André canta De André Best of Tour Teatrale”.
With “De André canta De André BEST OF SUMMER 2025” Cristiano De André, the only true heir of the De André musical heritage, will bring to the stage the best of the repertoire tackled so far, accompanied by the unexpected musicians Osvaldo di Dio on guitars and Davide Pezzin on bass. Luciano Luisi , who arranged the first two volumes, returns to the keyboards, and Ivano Zanotti arrives on drums. Cristiano himself, not only a singer-songwriter but also a skilled multi-instrumentalist , will play the acoustic and classical guitar, the bouzouki, the piano and the violin, accompanying the spectator on a journey that addresses Fabrizio's great work.
“ With “The Best Of Live Tour” I bring on stage some live songs that I rearranged in the four albums De André canta De Andrè dedicated to my father. I chose the best, in my opinion, of these reinterpretations of mine. It was meticulous work, done with great attention, love and respect. My father wanted to do a new tour, after the one for “Anime salve”, with new arrangements for his songs and he thought of giving me the task of doing it. I was already working on it, we were still on tour together but then unfortunately what we know happened. A few years after his death, I decided to carry on with his wish and with musicians of the caliber of Luciano Luisi, Max Marcolini and Stefano Melone, I completely rearranged and recorded live on various tours, about forty of his songs, publishing them in four albums that I titled “De Andrè canta De Andrè”. It seemed right to me and it still seems natural to me today to sing my father, to give the new generations the chance to still hear his works live ”.
The tour is produced and organized by Trident Music. The stop in Caserta, as part of the tenth edition of the festival “Un'Estate da Belvedere”, is curated by Anni 60 produzioni ( www.anni60produzioni.com ) and LWR. Tickets for the date are available here: https://bit.ly/ deandrebestoftour .
